Amy Ransom
@amyransomwrites

Amy is, first and foremost, a solo mum of three, just emerging from the early years. She’s also the author of The New Mum’s Notebook and The Not-So-New Mum’s Notebook, journals to support mums and their wellbeing in their first year and beyond, which she created after suffering from PND with her third baby. Her parenting ethos is encouraging herself and others to savour the ordinary moments and lean back in challenging times. It’s a constant work in progress!

Anna Shaw
@annashawstylist

Anna is a personal stylist and colour analyst who specialises in working with individuals in need of a confidence boost, particularly following periods of personal and physical transition. With two young children of her own, Anna is acutely aware of the challenges that women face when dressing their post-partum bodies and hugely empathetic to the crisis of confidence that often goes hand in hand with new motherhood.

Anna worked as a TV and digital fashion producer for over 10 years before moving into wardrobe and styling for clients including Marks and Spencer, ASOS, London Fashion Week and Westfield. She now works with a range of private clients, from red carpet talent to mums’ transitioning back into the workplace. She runs a charitable project called Dress Yourself Well, which offers workshops to men and women who are struggling with the visible effects of cancer treatment on their bodies and helps them to understand how to dress their new shapes to make them feel fantastic at a profoundly challenging time.

Anna will teach us about the importance of dressing for our body shape, particularly following the life-changing experience of pregnancy and birth. Her approach to styling is best described as visual therapy: Looking good genuinely can help us to feel better. Thinking about our appearance and reconnecting with a sense of self will have a genuinely uplifting impact on our confidence and wellbeing.
