Who can attend?
For the moment, we are inviting mums with babies aged from 3 months up to 3 years.
For all our retreats, we expect mums to have a base level of fitness, and to have been signed off by their doctor to exercise. If you’re unsure about whether you’re ready to exercise, please speak to your doctor or a physiotherapist qualified in post-natal care.
The retreat will eventually be open to mums at all stages of their parenting journey.
When and where is the next retreat?
Our next three day retreat is planned for 19th – 21st September at a private and secluded 12-acre estate in Mayfield, East Sussex. Please see our booking page or contact us for further details about the location.
Can I take a friend with me?
Yes, we have rooms that are designed for two adults and their babies to share. Please choose this option when booking.
Can I bring more than one child?
Yes, of course. As long as your children are 3 years or younger, they are welcome to join the retreat. We do have to charge a small fee per additional child in order to cover childcare and other expenses. Please email us for further information.
What can I expect?
A mixture of high and low intensity exercise, mindfulness, parenting expertise, nutritional food and therapeutic treatments. See our retreats page for more information.
How fit do I need to be to take part?
We know that every woman is different but we strongly believe that women need to exercise within their means, particularly in the first year after having a baby. We will offer a number of different classes, ranging from intense Hiit to gentle yoga. With guidance from our qualified experts, you will be able to choose a combination of classes that’s right for you.
Is food included?
Yes, we will provide three meals a day, along with post exercise snacks. All of our food has been planned with the post natal woman in mind, so it’s packed full of all the nutrients you need to meet your bodies demands. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide babies meals. We will have fruit on site but we ask that you bring food for your babies stay.
Can I attend the retreat if I am breastfeeding?
Yes, you can attend our retreats whilst you are breastfeeding. There will be flexibility during the retreat in terms of classes and it is not compulsory for you to attend every class. However, we would love for you and your baby to get the most out of our retreat so we can try to work around your baby’s feeding schedule and the time you need to express.
We can offer you an area in one of the fridges in the communal kitchens to store any milk which will be marked clearly.
For our 3 day retreats, the majority of rooms have their own kitchen. For those rooms that do not, There are 2 communal kitchens at the venue so you will have a designated kitchen to store your milk.
Can I book beauty treatments?
We have partnered with Secret Spa to bring you highly qualified and experienced beauty therapists who will be available throughout your stay.
All guests will be entitled to one complimentary treatment of their choice. We will provide a full list of treatments prior to the retreat for you to book an appointment.
Additional treatments are subject to availability and will be at an additional cost. We have subsidised the cost of any additional beauty treatments you choose to have.
What can my child look forward to?
